Job Description

The Transportation Partner Experience Events team is seeking an Event Coordinator to play a foundational role across our suite of global events. Your responsibility as an event coordinator will include managing event contract and financial approvals, managing event customer service and communications, supporting our event technology team with email building, testing, and reporting, booking venues, catering, and services for some of our smaller global event programs, owning individual workstreams for some of our largest Tier 1 events, and supporting on site at events as needed. The ideal candidate has foundational experience in event management, is a strong communicator, is detail oriented and has project management/organizational skills. This person will be able to effectively manage multiple projects across concurrent events at once, while rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done – no detail will be too small and they'll never say "that's not my job". They’ll obsess over details, display poise and sophistication in fast-moving situations, embrace ambiguity, and deliver results. Key job responsibilities- Contract/Approval routing management - Creating Purchase Orders & reconciling financials - Create and manage event inboxes and act as customer support for event related needs - Create and manage event team central resources- Book in venues, catering, and entertainment for small group gatherings and town hall style events- Coordinate and manage internal team events- Manage centralized event calendars, send calendar holds to executive and stakeholders, and support content team with executive scheduling where applicable- Support event technology team with website/registration testing, building, testing, scheduling emails and pulling reporting as needed - Post event survey creation & testing- Lead all event coordination with for in office streaming across applicable Tier 1 events. - Up to 25% travel required About the teamHave you seen the any of the Amazon trucks or delivery vehicles driving on the highways or around your neighborhood? The base pay for this position ranges from $54,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $116,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
