The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the Alexa International Executive Team while also providing high-level coordination with other Executive Assistants throughout the team and organization. Key to the position is the ability to be organized, prioritized and on time while also serving as a "go to" for all areas of responsibility. The position requires the capacity to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group and maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.This position will work closely with other Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants throughout Amazon. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is imperative. In addition, exceptional written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail, bias for action, detailed planning, time management and organizational skills are required.Key job responsibilitiesThe EA is responsible to a broad variety of tasks including:• Management of complex international calendars and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations and time zones• Manage expense reports, planning detailed domestic and international travel• Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)• Understand business priorities and proactively look for ways to improve processes to create efficiency and scale for the leadership team, ranging from organizational communication mechanisms to planning business meetings• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on unresolved items• Communicating on behalf of the executives directly with the leadership team and other stakeholders across the organization.• Coordinating with the EA team on organization-wide initiatives.• Have fun at work and help others do the sameA day in the lifeYour day will be dynamic and impactful, supporting two Directors within our innovative team.
