Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Finance Manager to lead strategic financial initiatives for our Global Data Center Strategic Supply team. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to directly influence the financial strategy for AWS's global data center expansion. This role will partner with senior leadership to drive financial strategy, operational excellence, and optimize strategic capacity plans.Key job responsibilities• Lead strategic financial planning and analysis for complex business initiatives• Develop and implement financial strategies that support long-term business growth• Build and manage relationships with senior business partners• Provide financial oversight and guidance for major business decisions• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives• Establish and maintain robust financial controls and reporting mechanismsAbout the teamOur Global Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) Finance team supports the development of new data centers for Amazon Web Services (AWS).   • - 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience (experience, 6 years)
  • - MBA, or CPA (experience)
  • - Knowledge of SQL/ETL (experience)
  • - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) (experience)
  • - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results (experience)
  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
