It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion dollar business and we are looking for an entrepreneurial minded Finance Manager to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology, who thinks/acts globally, and has the ability to create and implement solutions, processes and controls with a focus on the public sector.The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with an ability to build and articulate financial results and analytical insights to senior business and finance leaders. You will be familiar with managing and preparing financial analysis, critical to tracking the performance of the Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) contracts and overall business performance. This role requires a self-starter with superb business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a track record of delivering results to the business. You will be analytical in approach, have a demonstrated ability to develop financial models that provide intelligence for business decisions and be able to leverage your leadership skills to drive business objectives. Key job responsibilities- Develop financial models for new business concepts and initiatives, and resulting financial impact to help drive data driven decision making including long range financial plans and business case analysis- Implement and report key financial and operating metrics and performance indicators to measure overall business performance, help develop the financials associated with internal and external review meetings and provide insights to finance and business leadership- Manage, prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget and execution for large, complex Government programs- Create, implement and monitor internal controls in conjunction with corporate policies to ensure reporting integrity, the safeguarding of company assets and the identification and management of financial risks- Lead automation efforts of critical financial processes and rhythms leveraging AI- Effectively build cross functional relationships; key to understanding the performance and direction of the business for modeling and analysis- Drive the inputs, consolidation, and completion of Financial Planning and Analysis deliverables including Long Range Plan, 3 Year Operating Plan, OP1 and OP2- Ability to navigate and implement alternate revenue recognition methodologies including percentage of completion driven by estimate at complete analysis

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
