Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.We are searching for a candidate with operations software systems and engineering skills to support spaceflight operations and ground systems software development.This position requires expertise in software systems development for operations applications and engineering expertise in multi-disciplinary environments. Satellite operations experience is preferred. The Kuiper Flight Dynamics Operations team supports the mission operations for the Kuiper LEO Constellation.Working with the Kuiper engineering team, you will:• Support software development efforts to improve the Kuiper Flight Dynamics System.• Support transition from human operations-centric processes to automated workflow for flight dynamics tasks such as navigation and maneuver planning. • Support novel solutions to manage the risk posed by conjunction traffic in Low Earth Orbit.• Work closely with Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) engineers to manage on-orbit performance and develop flight dynamics operations process improvements.

- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
