Job Description

Employer: Amazon Data Services, Inc.Position: HW Commodity Specialist II (multiple positions available)Location: Seattle, WAMultiple Positions Available:1. Partner with your team and oversee the auditing operations and develop analytical models / SQL automation efforts while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners. 2. Design exception based reporting highlighting and analyzing outliers. 3. Weekly discussions reporting on pricing gaps, spot quotes, inventory status and areas of improvement. 4. Engage in forecasting, demand planning, material/supply/inventory planning, and/or capacity planning to deliver supply globally with a high degree of predictability; 5. Manage supply buffers and allocation to shorten lead times and build resiliency into the supply chain without driving excess; and 6. Develop and Manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) schedule to assure launch occurs of schedule and within budget. 7. Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base opportunities to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize industry developments that benefit Amazon.

  • The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $115,211 - $139,100(yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
