Employer: Amazon.com Services LLCPosition: HW Commodity Specialist IILocation: San Francisco, CAMultiple Positions Available:1. Manage supply or purchasing activities, which may include managing supplier relationships and performance; resolving vendor issues; or tracking, analyzing and reconciling purchase orders and requisitions; 2. Engage in forecasting, demand planning, material/supply/inventory planning, and/or capacity planning to deliver supply globally with a high degree of predictability; 3. Manage supply buffers and allocation to shorten lead times and build resiliency into the supply chain without driving excess; and 4. Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base opportunities to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize industry developments that benefit Amazon.5. Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.6. Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance.7. Domestic travel up to 10% to perform role responsibilities may be required
