Job Description

Employer: Amazon Data Services, Inc.Position: HW Commodity Specialist II (multiple positions available)Location: Seattle, WAMultiple Positions Available:1. Create forecasts and sourcing plans in support of customer demand. 2. Work with a range of stakeholders including supply chain, operations, engineering, and suppliers to drive supply profiles and to support on-time material availability. 3. Analyze business and technology trends to identify process improvement opportunities, reduce costs, and minimize risks for AWS and its customers. 4. Manage material inventories for AWS data centers 5. Evaluate and monitor performance of suppliers 6. Lead cross-functional meetings with clear document writing, agenda creation, note capture, and follow-up activity coordination. 7. Serve as an escalation point for teams to remediate supplier/material risks. 8. Domestic and international travel up to 10% to perform role responsibilities may be required

  • The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $127,982- $139,100 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Required Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline and 2 years of experience in job offered or a related occupation.
