MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLEEmployer: AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLCOffered Position: Industrial Designer IIIJob Location: Seattle, WashingtonJob Number: AMZ9159027Position Responsibilities:Invent, design and implement engineering solutions using AutoCAD to complex material flow/ machine efficiency problems throughout the supply chain. Coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment (warehousing) network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout and intellectual property considerations. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks effectively influencing, negotiating and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. Develop and deliver high performance fulfillment and transportation systems. Lead and coordinate concept and design development efforts for optimal solutions for the North America fulfillment network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, ergonomics, associate experience, operational considerations and site layout. Work closely with vendors, suppliers and other teams to execute solutions. Regularly communicate with senior management on status, risks and change control. Coordinate between various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. Work with business and technology teams to define requirements and high level process/systems solutions. Prioritize high impact projects, obtain approval from relevant functional leaders, and schedule resources.40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $144,477/year to $178,800/year.
