Together, we take ownership for what we do — whether supporting IT infrastructure, developing new technology inhouse, launching a new Amazon Operations facility, or delighting our customers by delivering packages directly to them.About The RoleAs an IT Support Engineer I, you will use your knowledge and specialized skills to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise application software across sites in a defined geographical area. You are able to determine when it is appropriate to deviate from a standard practice to accomplish the desired result.   • - 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience (experience, 1 years)
  • - Fluent in Cisco/networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft (experience)
  • - Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • - Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent (degree in it)
  • - CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications (certification)
  • - Data center infrastructure and facilities experience (experience)
  • - Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms (experience)
  • - Ability to manage high priority projects (experience)
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (experience)
  • - Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision (experience)
  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $46,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
