JP Operations FP&A: JP Operations Financial Planning and Analysis leads month-end close variance analysis, balance-of the current year forecast, and planning for the Operations-wide financials for the following year and long term. We are a team of analysts each specializing in particular operational costs performance, and provide a consolidated view to senior leadership. Our engagement to each business and their controlling Finance are diverse and frequent. FP&A gives the best opportunity for a person to have both a broad and detailed view. This role presents long term opportunities to grow in other parts of both Operations and the global Finance team. This position, Sr. Financial Analyst, will execute financial planning and reporting processes for our fulfillment network. This includes coordination with Operations business stakeholders, as well as with local and Seattle Finance management. He/She is responsible for identifying relevant insights, analytical reports, and business commentary that enable leaders in the company to make sound decisions. The position will be responsible for analysis/discussion on recent Operations performance, as well as communicating impact to our retail businesses for their bottom-line profitability. The Financial Analyst will be also responsible for managing projects to streamline planning/reporting processes, and assess financial impact of new business initiatives.
