Job Description
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.We are looking for a talented lawyer to join the Amazon Legal team supporting Project Kuiper. You will be embedded with the Kuiper business, with a focus on supporting commercial customer and partner deals across EMEA.We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys being continually challenged, and demonstrates sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.This position will be based in London. Some travel, primarily within Europe, will be required. Key job responsibilitiesYou will support Kuiper commercial business development and sales efforts in EMEA, with a focus on supporting mobility engagements. Legal support will include structuring, drafting, and negotiating a range of agreements (e.g., agreements to sell services and customer terminals), and counseling the business team on legal issues related to Kuiper’s customer and partner contracts. The successful candidate will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
