If so, you might be the right person for the Manager, Operations, role on the Prime Video Live Events team, which brings new sports leagues and other live broadcast events to Prime Video customers around the world.Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows and movies - all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. We offer customers thousands of popular movies and TV shows from Originals and Exclusive content to exciting live sports events. We also offer our members the opportunity to subscribe to add-on channels which they can cancel at anytime and to rent or buy new release movies and TV box sets on the Prime Video Store. Prime Video is a fast-paced, growth business - available in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. The team works in a dynamic environment where innovating on behalf of our customers is at the heart of everything we do.As the Manager, Operations, you will supervise a team of digital content associates. As part of the global program of PV Sports, your team will perform various tasks related to the publishing or the assessment and enhancement of the quality of the detail pages available in the Amazon Prime Video Sports catalogue. You will be in charge of the quality and accuracy of the Sports detail pages. Your team will validate accuracy of content and correct or improve accuracy when necessary. The team will also support internal audits to ensure the we deliver the best streaming experience to our customers.As a manager, you will be in charge of defined problems by delegating tasks, identifying roadblocks and recommending trade-offs. You will also be responsible for delivering on team goals, providing guidance or coaching to your direct reports and for hiring new talent. To succeed in this role, you will need a proven track record of leading operational teams, executing deliverables with guidance, communicating effectively and improving operational processes by driving standardization or resource optimization.Key job responsibilities- Manage a team of 15 - 20 employees on tasks related to quality check of Sports detail pages - Partner with internal and external teams to execute business goals- Guide and own Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and share best practices across all teams- Plan and commit to deliverables by managing the team resources and infrastructure, queue, shifts, cross training, and time off.- Provide support for the optimization of various operations, team productivity, customer experience and workforce metrics- Perform root cause analysis and create documentation to reflect the identified gaps, problem, root cause and solutions.- Initiate and lead process improvement projects, present solutions, and implement them to relevant operational areas- Evaluate existing team members and hire new ones while applying the Amazon hiring bar. About the teamThe team’s core mission is to manage programs and workflows associated with delivering live content to Amazon customers. This involves interacting with sports media and metadata partners, managing workflows through the publishing process, and defining operational procedures with the goal of bringing highly engaging sports content to Prime Video customers. In addition to continuously driving and improving execution of this core mission, you will work closely with cross-functional counterparts to ensure the teams and systems are supporting the broader growth of our business, launching new features, developing and growing business opportunities, and enhancing our customer experience.
