We are building a new shopping experience in the Amazon Shopping app that provides customers a place to discover even more affordable Fashion, Home, Lifestyle, Electronics, and other products at ultra-low prices. This exciting, product discovery-driven CX is full of products across categories at low prices, with fulfillment in one to two weeks. The store's intuitive browse-based UX and thumb-stopping discounts encourage exploration, basket building, and repeat purchases. It is still early days and the perfect time to join a fast-moving team at the ground level.We’re looking for an exceptionally motivated and organized Merchandising Manager with strong customer focus, analytical skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit to join the marketing team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of visual merchandising and content marketing in the B2C or e-commerce space. They have exceptional project management skills, possess a strong analytical mindset, is highly detail-oriented, and able to execute flawlessly to meet timelines. They know how to balance creative and technical requirements to test new initiatives (e.g., generative AI) and create a best-in-class shopping experience that inspires browsing and drives conversion. They are innovative, creative, and able to navigate ambiguity on a daily basis. Key job responsibilities1. Develop, own, and execute the site merchandising strategy and content calendar to inspire and convert customers2. Work with site merchandising, styling, and creative counterparts to scale content creation (e.g., generative AI) to deliver a regular cadence of site updates aligning to seasonal events, industry moments, brand launches, and trends3. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business intelligence teams to optimize site placements (refinements, filters, product page) and reporting4. Set up testing and experimentation to gain customer insights on CX improvements5. Create reporting structure to track, measure, and benchmark site performance, sharing learnings and recommendations with key stakeholders6. Stay current with trends in the ecommerce segment to continue iterating on a best-in-class site experience 7. Collaborate with other marketing and merchandising teams to drive traffic and attract new shoppers.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Develop, own, and execute the site merchandising strategy and content calendar to inspire and convert customers
  • 2. Work with site merchandising, styling, and creative counterparts to scale content creation (e.g., generative AI) to deliver a regular cadence of site updates aligning to seasonal events, industry moments, brand launches, and trends
