Job Description
Shopbop is seeking an experienced Photographer to join our e-commerce photography team in our Madison, WI studio. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to capture high-quality, visually compelling images of a wide range of products both on and off model. The ability to work collaboratively within interdependent teams is a must, so the right person will have an understanding of the balance needed between artistry, organization, communication, and cooperation.Key job responsibilities• Produce consistently high-quality, color-accurate, and properly exposed images • Perform a variety of standardized product photography with a high level of competence• Work with senior photographers on lighting, visual aesthetics, and technical problem-solving• Efficiently manage high-volume image workflows (~ 3,000 files per day)• Verify color accuracy and make corrections as needed to maintain visual standards• Troubleshoot on-set challenges decisively and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders• Execute creative direction and articulate rationale for decisions to support our brand vision• Identify process improvements to enhance studio performance and productivity• Innovate new approaches for shooting emerging categories or initiatives• Maintain studio equipment, props, and supplies • Provide feedback to ensure successful implementation of new processes

- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $101,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
