Job Description

Amazon Web Services is looking for a Principal HR Business Partner to drive the development and implementation of the People strategy in support of our AWS Support business. In this position, you will partner with business leaders and their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the Organizational and People strategies that foster growth, drive results and increase organizational effectiveness. You must be able to understand business priorities and translate them into a people agenda that supports the business. You will also be responsible for implementing annual people cycles such as performance reviews, promotions, compensation planning and succession planning, working closely with COE teams to build people capability. We are looking for a Human Resource professional who has the ability to diagnose issues, use data and insights to develop appropriate solutions and influence outcomes. The individual in this role must be able to interface effectively with leaders, peers and employees at all levels of the organization.   • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
