Fire TV is looking for a Games Category Manager to own and grow our Gaming business — a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of content, business, customer experience, and long-term strategy.Fire TV is a global leader in streaming, with a mature video offering, a global audience of tens of millions of customers, and a bold roadmap for innovation. Gaming on Fire TV, however, is just getting started — and we see a multi-billion-dollar opportunity ahead. We are seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial leader who can own this space end-to-end, define what the gaming experience on Fire TV should be, and drive 10X growth over the next several years.This is a builder role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, understands the gaming industry deeply, and can connect the dots across content, product, marketing, and business development to create something truly differentiated.Key job responsibilities• Own the Fire TV Gaming Category: Lead strategy, roadmap, and execution for gaming, including defining success metrics, driving growth, and managing day-to-day operations.• Drive Content Strategy & Games Hub Ownership: Build and optimize the Games Hub experience, curate the right catalog of games, and work with internal and external partners to deliver compelling titles across the ecosystem.• Cross-Amazon Collaboration: Partner with Fire TV product teams, plus partner teams across Amazon (Luna Prime Gaming, Appstore, Business Development, Ads) to create a cohesive and scaled gaming offering.• Influence Product & Device Roadmaps: Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure Fire TV devices and OS updates enable delightful, performant gaming experiences.• Build Strategic Partnerships: Engage with key third-party partners (e.g., Xbox, Volley, and others) to onboard high-impact titles, cloud gaming services, and build long-term content relationships.• Work Backwards from the Customer: Define and advocate for a customer-centric vision that delivers differentiated, accessible, and delightful gaming experiences on Fire TV.• Manage with Data: Track performance, surface insights, and use analytics to drive improvements in business performance and customer experience.• Scale What Works: Establish scalable systems, processes, and mechanisms to support long-term growth of the gaming category across global regions.

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
