The Placement team within the Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization owns automated decision-making systems that power Amazon's global operations. We create intelligent algorithms that learn and adapt in real-time, making optimal choices across complex operational scenarios. Our systems process millions of critical decisions daily, bringing Amazon's inventory closer to customers. We have built our products entirely in-house, fostering innovative, game-changing ideas in reinforcement learning and large-scale optimization technology.We are looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial Principal Product Manager, Technical, to own the roadmap and feature delivery for one of Amazon's key inventory placement systems. As a technical product owner, you will define, test, and launch significant features that improve the quality of our system's decisions and drive business outcomes. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of engineers and research scientists on system architecture and algorithm development.   • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
