Other responsibilities for the Buyer/Planner include managing inventory levels, supporting material/product level revisions, interacting/coordinating with suppliers on a variety of topics ensuring compliance and supporting other business functions as required.Monitor status of open orders to ensure on-time delivery of all items ordered, including timely resolution, communication.Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule and/or inventory changes.Manage and resolve issues regarding Purchase Order (PO) to invoice discrepancies, returns and quality problems with suppliers.Provide back-up support for supply chain functions including shipping, receiving, material handling and other duties as assigned.Collaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of customer service, including recommending solutions, resources and alternative supply options.Ensure and promote compliance to Company and Procurement policies and procedures.Understand and comply with all FAR, DFAR, ITAR flow down requirements.Understand and comply with all import/export requirements.Use procurement systems like Coupa, SAP & E2Open for order management and delivery metrics.Participate in Daily Deep Dive (DDD) meetings to report on procurement-related metrics

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $93,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
