Job Description

Are you passionate about building scalable programs from the ground up? Do you want to drive meaningful impact across one of Amazon's largest organizations? Amazon's Legal Department is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Stores & Ops Privacy Legal team.In this role, you will be part of the core legal team responsible for structuring, building, and running a program to drive privacy compliance and risk mitigation across Amazon's NA Stores and WW Operations businesses. You'll partner with senior attorneys, compliance teams, and business leaders to create scalable solutions that protect customer privacy while enabling business growth.You do not need any prior experience or expertise in privacy or the legal field--only curiosity and a willingness to learn. You will receive on-the-job training in privacy and legal processes, and will be part of the broader program management community within the Amazon's legal department.Key job responsibilities• Design and implement comprehensive program management mechanisms to track and drive privacy compliance initiatives • Conduct deep-dive analyses of business and legal processes to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities • Create and maintain scalable mechanisms for tracking organizational goals and privacy campaigns, including metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools • Develop and implement practical resources for lawyers and legal professionals working on privacy initiatives, including guidance materials, training programs, standard operating procedures, and review processes • Build strong partnerships and operating mechanisms with stakeholders across Legal, privacy compliance, and business teams to drive adoption of new processes and tools • Influence cross-functional partners to achieve program objectives and drive measurable improvements in privacy compliance

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
