Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Linux/Network Engineer to support and engineer Amazon Grocery Store technologies. The ideal candidate will focus on supporting and engineering store servers and network solutions that integrate with Linux systems in AWS.Key job responsibilities- Support and maintain retail servers integrated with Linux systems in AWS.- Support and maintain retail network devices including firewalls and load balancers.- Manage and troubleshoot Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu Linux operating systems.- Develop and implement solutions for retail servers, particularly in store Hosts and Hypervisors.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between enterprise (AWS and on-prem) server solutions and retail devices.- Contribute to DevOps practices and release management for production environments.

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
