Job Description

Kuiper GIS Security is seeking a Tehcnical Infrastructure Program Manager to manage complex initiatives and deliver simplified solutions. The role involves setting operational strategy for our security team and driving business solutions to meet these goals. You'll define measurable metrics to demonstrate improvements in customer experience, business performance, and employee efficiency.The ideal candidate is data-driven, organized, and results-oriented. You'll manage non-technical projects including process development, training, and metric reporting. This role requires some travel and autonomous work. Key skills include solving ambiguous problems, identifying security vulnerabilities, and applying mitigation strategies to reduce risk. You'll lead program management best practices and drive clarity on initiatives through effective communication at all levels.As a key team member, you'll build processes and design mechanisms to support security as Kuiper scales. Success depends on identifying vulnerabilities, implementing mitigation strategies, and improving operational efficiency. The role involves creating scalable security mechanisms while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners.Key job responsibilities* Develop and maintain operational security policies that ensure high standards across regions* Lead complex risk assessment programs at country and site levels, including process development, training, and exception management* Coordinate with Amazon Security Incident Response teams to implement and maintain response plans, training, and resource allocation* Communicate emerging risks and mitigation strategies to regional teams within Kuiper Ground Infrastructure Operations* Partner with internal security teams to identify and mitigate long-term security risks* Establish and manage relationships with security vendors to ensure system installations meet quality and performance standards* Conduct site assessments, participate in design meetings, and review construction projects (travel up to 25% of time)About the teamThe Kuiper GIS Security team is globally responsible for safeguarding Kuiper ground infrastructure, customer data, and employees in remote environments.   • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
