The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, comfortable diving deep, and making data driven decisions with a strong business acumen. You must be able to handle competing priorities and manage stakeholders, setting up a BI roadmap for the topics you own and deliver on that roadmap. Your work will directly impact our ability to make data-driven decisions and drive the success of our business.Key job responsibilities - Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use. - Work closely with the team to understand business challenges and provide data/analysis for better decision making. - Design and create the reports and metrics for tracking business and product success.- Build self-service reporting platforms, establishing automated processes for large scale data analyzis. - Understand and write high quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data.- Extract, Transform and Load data to build new reporting solutions. - Manage the local data infra-structure, as well as work with Global teams to assure data is consistent and accurate.About the teamLATAM Marketplace BI team is responsible for ensuring our stakeholders and leaders have the data they need to make data-driven decisions and drive the success of our business.We are structured into verticals (business topics) and promote knowledge sharing in between those topics every week. In our team, a Business Intelligence Engineer can be responsible for 1 or more business verticals, driving his BI projects end to end, this involves: setting up the BI roadmap, managing stakeholders, diving deep on data for that topic and designing and building SQL Tables, KPIs, reports, dashboards and analysis.
