Job Description

The NA Network S&OP team within NA Supply Chain is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer. You will contribute to defining, building, and automating Sales & Operations and capacity planning for one of the largest supply chains globally. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineering, business operations, product, finance, and more. Utilize your analytical prowess to identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement scalable systems, and drive automation to enhance efficiency, with a particular focus on optimizing the physical flow and operations within the supply chain network. Whether you're managing network capacity initiatives, overseeing cross-functional programs, or focusing on strategic projects, your impact will be visible, ongoing, and contribute directly to our commitment to being the most customer-centric company on earth.Key job responsibilities- Develop (as an individual contributor) or lead the development of (as a technical lead) enhanced and automated S&OP planning resources, leveraging AI. - Build advanced visualization solutions to allow business and tech stakeholders to self-serve and deep dive the teams' plans, driving enhanced explainability and adoption. - Collaborate with leaders across multiple teams to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.You will lead critical performance management initiatives for inventory placement leveraging complex data management/visualization and presenting those to different levels within the company:- Design and own the right set of metrics measuring inventory placement performance- Recommend improvements to the placement strategy using modelling and large datasets. You'll guide planning teams and other relevant stakeholders with regards to the mix of products to place in Amazon buildings, maximizing selection and reducing distance to customers and spinning the Amazon flywheel!- Pioneer new ideas to increase speed and reduce delivery cost to customers- Pilot and implement your recommendation in production through smart configurations in Amazon systems- Develop the analytics required to visualize opportunities and measure progresses- Partner with worldwide technical teams to develop new features

The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
