Do you believe compelling messaging has the power to engage customers and change sentiment?We are looking for a Senior Driver Communications Manager to join the Rest of World (RoW) Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Communications Team. Our team supports hundreds of DSPs who engage thousands of drivers to deliver millions of packages per week through our Last Mile delivery network.The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator with strategic communications, business acumen, and excellent writing ability. Exercising extremely high judgment in narrow timeframes, particularly by injecting logic and care into strategic communications targeted at drivers is critical.You will Insist on the Highest Standards regarding driver-facing communications and content. You will rapidly Earn Trust with multiple cross-functional partners, including program managers, product managers, and executives. You will be a thought leader who indexes high on emotional intelligence. You will bring in fresh ideas to simplify and scale our communications processes. You will have a passion for storytelling as there are so many wonderful stories to be found in this innovative space. Our environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who has a high Bias for Action and thrives in ambiguity.Key job responsibilities• Develop a multi-channel content strategy to help educate and engage DSPs and their drivers operating across Japan, Australia, and the AMET region; • Translate complex messaging into simple and easy-to-understand content;• Interview DSPs and the drivers to build advocacy and testimonial stories that promote the program as entrepreneurial opportunity of choice;• Identify emerging topics and develop proactive communication plans with senior leaders;• Respond to crisis and complex issues and escalations in a timely, and thoughtful manner;• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications through ongoing reporting. A day in the lifeWe write a lot and "are right a lot!" We respond to business needs and develop messaging for change announcements. We also interview DSPs and drivers to build compelling spotlight and advocacy stories. We own multiple channels by which we communicate to our DSP Owners, including the Communication Center and email. We communicate to drivers through the In-App Newsfeed, built within their Amazon Delivery App. We partner effectively with other content creator teams at Amazon to bring consistency and amplify our storytelling efforts.About the teamThe RoW DSP Communications Team comprises more than 15 high-performing communicators working across eight countries. Even though we are based in different continents across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, we have a highly inclusive and collaborative culture.
