Required Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent (degree in computer science)
• - 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation (experience, 5 years)
• - 3+ years in automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automating security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code (experience, 3 years)
• - 1+ years in advanced incident response to lead response efforts including leading detection and analysis efforts and managing eradication processes (experience, 1 years)
• - 5+ years of experience with security services and best practices including: implementing security controls and optimizing security measures (experience, 5 years)

Preferred Qualifications

• - AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation) (experience)
• - AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty) preferred (certification)
• - Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python) (experience)
• - Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) (experience)
• - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences (experience)
• - Understanding of industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST frameworks (experience)
• - Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM) (experience)
• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
