Job Description

Kindle is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the long-term vision and strategy for content editing foundations and input experiences on Kindle, across all content types and cross-surface experiences. This product manager will be responsible for delivering foundational writing tools and multi-modal note-taking capabilities that empower customers to engage more deeply with Kindle content through annotations and note-taking.Key job responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have played a leading role in consumer app or client operating system development, combining passion for amazing customer experiences with the ability to work closely with design and engineering teams to find creative solutions to product challenges. They must be highly analytical and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into features that deliver exceptional reading and writing experiences. The ideal candidate should possess deep understanding of text-based data structures and algorithms, and knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP).   • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
