• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Responsibilities

• 1. Perform threat modeling and ensure adequate security controls are in place for applications, and infrastructure
• 2. Influence builders to be better security owners, actively engaging with them to innovate faster and develop scalable mechanisms for upholding the high security bar.
• 3. Create and maintain security documentation, including designs patterns, implementation guides, and secure software development kits (SDKs)
• 4. Simulate adversarial attacks against application or infrastructure.
• 5. Contribute to security automation tooling for building new Generative AI detection and tooling capabilities
• 6. Identify actionable and scalable mitigations for identified vulnerabilities, and collaborate with Agentic AI product and engineering teams to influence and prioritize their resolution.
• 7. Mentor builders who aspire to become security advocates & security engineers via 1-1 sessions & office hours.
