Job Description

Our web services provide a platform for IT infrastructure in-the-cloud that is used by hundreds of thousands of developers and businesses around the world. Ten years ago, we couldn’t have imagined how far we would come. Now we’re inventing for the next ten years and beyond. But it is still Day 1 for us, and we are looking for curious people to be part of our diverse teams of thinkers, testers, and doers. Our Solutions Architects team is seeking candidates located in San Jose, Costa Rica to join our AWS team, focused on customers from Caribbean and Central America, with a variety of skills to help shape and deliver on our cloud strategy for our global customers and partners. As a solutions architect, you will be on the front line of helping customers succeed using AWS technologies, linking technology with measurable business value for organizations ranging from start-ups to large, enterprise customers. You will be a trusted customer advocate, helping our partners understand advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. Key job responsibilities- Help customers to adopt the right architecture at each part of their lifecycle- Support in architecting scalable, reliable and secure solutions- Enable the adoption of a broad range of AWS services to deliver business value and accelerate growth- Support the evolution and roadmap of the AWS platform and services, connecting our engineering teams with our customers for feedback- Develop technical content, such as blog posts, sample code and solutions, to assist customers solve technical problems and reduce time-to-market

Preferred Qualifications
- - 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience (experience, 5 years)
- - Experience working with end user or developer communities (experience)
- - Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (degree in graduate degree in computer science)
- - AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant expertise (certification)
