Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Key job responsibilitiesAs a Signal and Power Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and developing Signal and Power Integrity test methodologies, participating in design reviews, performing SI and PI simulations, providing reports, collaborating with other engineers to develop solutions, and working to ensure a high technical bar for PCB power across Kuiper.A day in the lifeEngineers on the Signal/Power Integrity (SI/PI) team work across the entire Kuiper satellite system, providing design inputs, developing requirements, establishing best practices, performing power integrity simulations, and working with designers to make design improvements.About the teamThe SI/PI team interacts broadly across the entire Kuiper project to deliver electrical designs. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon in different locations. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that haven't been solved at scale before.   • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
