• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Responsibilities

• • Design and build scalable systems to responsibly access and process available information from the web.
• • Optimize the data processing architecture to ensure performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness..
• • Implement robust systems to process content and extract meaning.
• • Develop data pipelines and infrastructure to deploy ML models which intelligently classify petabyte-scale datasets.
• • Work closely with scientists and other engineers to rapidly prototype and deploy new algorithms.
• • Write high quality, well-tested production code in languages like Python, spark, Java, Scala.
• • Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, in order to advance what’s possible in large-scale information processing.
