The Digital Post Purchase Platform team owns services supporting the post purchase management for Subscriptions, Content and Devices for 35+ internal clients such as Amazon Prime, Amazon Music, Audible, Kindle, Prime Video, Amazon AppStore, etc.We are looking for seasoned technical leadership and people management in the form of a Software Development Manager. We would like a person with more than a decade of production software development experience who can manage a team of outstanding developers, make multi-year architectural decisions and lead development efforts for the team.This candidate will be joining a team working on highly scalable services including modern UX and using native cloud technologies. The work will be highly visible to Amazon customers and internal stakeholders.As a Software Development Manager, this person will be responsible to understand organizational and product goals and map them to managed project deliverables. They must be able to divide tasks across a team and manage team execution. They are fully responsible for the day to day operations of the team and held to a high standard on the quality of product produced and the quality of ongoing support and maintenance provided to our customers. They must build effective teams and organizational structure, Hire and develop the best talent to execute on their vision.
