Job Description
In this role, you will manage a team responsible for Provisioning Software on Kuiper satellites. Our mission is to ensure that we provide robust systems software to all the various compute systems on the satellite. Our focuses are on reliability, safety, and security.Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. In this role, you will bring that vision to life by designing, developing and testing the embedded software that controls individual satellites.Key job responsibilities- Hire and support top talent to meet goals of the team.- Define and drive the multi-year vision for the team.- Oversee resource allocation to ensure appropriate business and staff development goals are met.- Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business goals.- Work closely with engineers to architect and deliver the best technical designs and approaches.Export Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $166,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $287,700/year in our highest geographic market.
