As an engineer on this team, you wlll be focused on designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable systems that enable our customers to ingest and watch live video. Twitch processes a massive amount of live video channels and distributes them using the largest dedicated live video CDN in the world, delivering over 25Tbps to more than 5 million concurrent viewers. In addition to serving Twitch traffic, our video platform is offered as Amazon Interactive Video Service, an AWS service that allows the creation of a live video streaming platform with only a few lines of code. Engineers with our Video Team work across a range of areas including ingest, transcoding, and distribution with the lowest latency high-scale HLS distribution system in the world.

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
