Job Description
Employer: Amazon Web Services, Inc.Position: Solutions Architect IILocation: New York, NYMultiple Positions Available:Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support. Analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies and common infrastructure platform components, and access migration feasibility. Architect hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions. Guide customers on architecture choices and inform them of the best practices to adopt AWS efficiently and cost-effectively. Ensure success in building, migrating, and deploying applications, software and services on the AWS platform. Brief senior executive team on customer progress of adopting the AWS and define future platform requirement for on-boarding and migration to AWS. Author AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers. Share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community. Engage with developers, system administrators, software architects, project manager, directors, and C-level customers to define cloud strategies and deployments. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and ensure that solutions are designed for successful deployment on AWS.

Skills Required
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered, or as a Database Administrator, Support Engineer, or a related occupation. - The base pay range for this position in New York City is USD$172891 - $195400 (yr). Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
