Required Qualifications

• - Deep SOC architectural, micro architectural, chip design, verification and physical design understanding. (experience)

• - 5+ years in either design or verification technical lead and owner of a major block or sybsystem (experience, 5 years)
• - 2+ successful tape outs as a major block or subsystem design or verification owner (experience)
• - Proven experience leading across teams and across disciplines (experience)
• - Proven experience with program management (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• - Previous knowledge with Machine learning acceleration SOC architecture (experience)
• - Higher level degree in computer science or electrical engineering (degree in computer science or electrical engineering)

• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $187,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $324,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Responsibilities

• Driving architectural closure and ensuring specifications coherency with product definition and timelines
• Own development process and chip development methodologies ensuring robust, efficient, high quality design
• - Drivers methodology and flows with the different teams
• - Drives vendor engagement methodologies
• - Owns external IP engagements, driving decisisons and engagements
• - IP/ASIC vendor point of contact, owns delivery schedule, drives escalations
• Owns overall SOC quality and schedule
• - Drive design, implementation and verification closure
• - Own reviews and review methodology within the development
• - Owns and drives periodic reviews with leadership
• Drive and own cross discipline interfaces and activities
• - Including SOC org internal teams
• - With external development teams such as post silicon operations and test, SIPI and packaging, system validation etc.
• - Vendors and external IP providers
• Owns SOC quality and represents SOC team for post silicon life of the SOC/Project
• - Post-Silicon Health: Managing chip bring-up readiness, debug planning, and performance/functionality validation strategies
• - ATE and Production Test: Coordinating the creation and implementation of efficient production test methodologies to ensure high-quality chip manufacturing
• - Provide leadership with SOC quality and production risk assessments
