Job Description

The NA Design & Construction Governance, Cost Management team is seeking a passionate and motivated Sr. Cost Manager to support a portfolio of industrial projects in North America. You will drive cost certainty of projects to report on overall financial health across the network. Working with cross-functional teams, you will develop financial control frameworks and align on cost management best practices globally.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop strong partnerships with Governance Pillar leads, global D&C teams, and counterpart planning, execution, finance, and design teams.Lead the Cost Management function, including budget management, forecasting, change management diligence, invoice review, contract compliance, and risk mitigation across multiple projects.Validate and verify change orders on behalf of field execution teams.Monitor Work in Progress (WIP) and validate monthly payment applications in the field.Lead post-mortem analyses and end point audits of large scale industrial projects.Contingency management and monthly cost reporting leveraging internal data with a bias towards automation.Lead the analysis and communication of Project Financial Health, providing leadership with actionable insights on financial performance, change management, and risk assessment.A day in the lifeAs a Sr. Construction Cost Manager, you will primarily work with the Construction Manager and act as a strategic advisor on all cost functions across multiple projects. Additionally you will work with Finance, Planning, and Design teams to predict project costs at a network level. The GES NA D&C Governance team is responsible for driving an all-mile, next-level customer experience through cost, quality, portfolio management, and project controls. This team also ensures proactive customer updates, outward communication and holistically manages risk across NA D&C.

The base pay for this position ranges from $69,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,800/year in our highest geographic market.
