• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Responsibilities

• Assess environmental risks and requirements and develop strategies to support data center delivery and operational environmental compliance.
• Develop and lead technical initiatives for continual improvement of sound and acoustic compliance for both internal and external requirements.
• Develop long-term strategy and vision for the environmental sound and acoustic compliance program in the Americas.
• Develop, manage, and track metrics and goals to evaluate program success.
• Work with Acoustic Engineering teams and other partners to update sound regulation repository, and provide environmental technical support to additional Acoustics Teams-led initiatives as needed.
• Communicate environmental requirements to internal and external project partners including Real Estate, Design, Water, Legal, Risk, Power, and others.
• Coordinate with partner teams including Real Estate, Design, Water, Legal, Risk, Power, and others to support Acoustics Teams-led initiatives.
• Lead regulatory agency interactions and negotiations in support of environmental permit acquisition and regional development strategies.
