• - Experience in automated testing and system characterization (experience)
• - Ability to provide thought leadership and key input on new initiatives as well as on programs underway (experience)
• - Ability to regularly engage with senior stake holders and influence across the organization (experience)
• - Knowledge and experience with precision optical components and systems. (experience)

• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Responsibilities

• • Design, build and qualify optical metrology stations for build, test and manufacturing of optical Intersatellite link system.
• • Develop clear understanding of optical tests needed for qualifying optical systems
• • Conduct optical module design validation test and prepare optical test engineering report for Program Reviews as requested.
• • Analyze technical problems arising in optical testing and manufacturing and develop optimal strategies for solving them.
• • Develop new and improve existing optical measurement methods, using optical metrology equipment like interferometer, camera, imaging systems, Hart-Mann sensor for optical module integration, alignment, and testing.
• • Analyze and propose new solutions to optical systems.
• • Write MATLAB/Python scripts to analyze and plot data required for stakeholder review.
• • Develop measurement process and procedures for volume manufacturing and transfer it production team.
