Job Description

Amazon Private Brands is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead the strategy and and execution for raising the bar on responsible sourcing of Private Brands products. Amazon is committed to ensuring that all Private Brands products are produced in a way that respects and protects the rights of workers across our supply chain, and to lead by example by upholding and enforcing Amazon's Supply Chain Standard against our own brands.This is a global role that requires skills to influence across multiple global organizations, manage a high level of ambiguity, and make high judgment decisions. This role will work closely with program, product, and tech teams across Safety, Sustainability, Compliance, Human Rights, Social Impact, and Sourcing. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, creative, articulate, influential, and be able to invent new solutions that are simple and effective. Key job responsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities: - Define performance improvement targets based on risk scoring & targeted interventions. - Build project plans to deliver on these targets, ensuring work streams, milestones, resource requirements, and ownership are clearly identified. - Develop auditing mechanisms to validate the accuracy of model inputs and outputs. - Work cross-functionally with product, program, and tech partners.- Manage the long-term vision and roadmap for performance improvement, including expansion of included use cases over time.- Develop and execute project plans with clear workstreams, milestones, and ownership structures- Provide regular reporting on key metrics, manage product issues, and conduct root cause analysis, as needed- Own and drive tech systems and roadmap for Amazon Private Brands Responsible Sourcing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs- Manage escalations and tradeoffs while ensuring timely deliver of solutions- Own documentation and socialization of best practices across teams- Ensure alignment across technical and business teams

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
