The Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Tech team is at the heart of Amazon's transportation network, supporting scalable, innovative, and cost-effective delivery operations globally. Our platforms are designed for global use and leverage multi-tenant technology, enabling Amazon and hundreds of developers to innovate and grow at scale.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Sr SDE, you are expected to have expertise in full-stack software development, including customer-facing applications, and backend services essential for efficient last-mile delivery operations. You must have the vision and technical expertise to build solutions that help DSPs and Amazon in enhancing vehicle safety and compliance, and optimizing vehicle maintenance and utilization there by reducing the total cost of operations. You will be responsible for the overall architecture of Last Mile Fleet tech team owned systems, ensuring the team builds the right solutions that address customer requirements and business use cases. You make critical decisions on architectural components, technology choices, and design patterns across the teams and in design forums promoting engineering best practices. You collaborate with the SDM to adopt best practices for operational and engineering excellence.
