Preferred Qualifications

• - Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Business Management, Supply chain, or equivalent (degree in engineering)
• - Lean/Six Sigma Certification (certification)
• - 3+ years of experience working directly with Business Analytics or Data Engineering teams (experience, 3 years)
• - Experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills. (experience)
• - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools (experience)
• - Experience using project management applications - Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, Asana, etc. (experience)
• - Experience in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, and/or Consumer Electronics industries (experience)
• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Responsibilities

• - Work across the Kuiper organization and partner with other Amazon teams to drive improvement in the Kuiper warehouse spaces as well as for downstream manufacturing operations related to kit consumption. This may include identifying pain points, developing KPIs, leading improvement activities, and driving business change.
• - Develop new processes and systems, driving standardization and adoption across multiple warehouse facilities, including planning, initiating and managing process changes.
• - Drive process improvements applying lean thinking and data-driven performance management to eliminate waste and drive process stability.
• - Use visual tools (value stream mapping, spaghetti diagrams, etc.) to map processes.
• - Create robust metrics and analyzing large data sets to enable data-driven decision-making at the executive level.
• - Serve as a subject matter expert for Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence, sharing your knowledge with employees ranging from associates to senior leadership.
