Must reside in the state of Arizona, and must be able to commute to the office if necessary.Key job responsibilitiesPlease note that specific responsibilities may vary by position and location. The following listrepresents potential duties that may be required:● Maintain comprehensive customer profiles including current and past medical history, clinicaland laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter and homeremedies)● Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potentialinteractions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes to theprescriber as appropriate● Operate and Troubleshoot Pharmacy Automation Systems• Utilize, monitor, and troubleshoot automated dispensing and fulfillment systems toensure accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of prescription orders• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and engineering teams to resolve automationissues, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards● Dispense Controlled Substances and Maintain Regulatory Compliance• Accurately dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations andstate-specific laws• Maintain thorough, timely, and auditable records of all controlled substancetransactions, including inventory management, reconciliation, and reportingrequirements● Provide Clinical Support:• Answer clinical questions and provide guidance• Collaborate with healthcare team members• Document all healthcare team communications• Investigate and resolve medication errors Additional Responsibilities:• Implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws• Maintain required regulatory documentation• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives• Support pharmacy operations across departments as needed• Physical requirements may include ability to perform warehouse work and lift at least20 pounds

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $103,800/year up to $146,400/year. The National base pay for this position ranges from $93,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $161,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
