• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Responsibilities

• Work with partners in Amazon Procurement, and 3P Carriers to align capacity to demand, with respect to origin location, size, special handling requirements, and speed expectations.
• Own goals for Transportation Execution and provide visibility to key metrics through regular business reviews with internal stakeholders and Leaders (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Business Reviews).
• Build alignment with internal and external transportation providers; negotiate and deliver incremental carrier capacity when needed to meet program volume, particularly for Prime week and Peak season.
• Measure quality of services delivered by 3P and 1P transportation providers. Develop mechanisms to provide visibility to performance and hold partners accountable.
• Work with Alternate Fulfillment colleagues in Business Development, Account Management, Product, Tech as well as Amazon internal carriers to build processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations and drive growth towards program goals.
• Influence the vision and detailed requirements for automated solutions to enable our business to manage key levers like transit time, transit time contingencies, and carrier capacity.
