Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As a System Development Engineer, you will be responsible for integration, simulation, and test of state-of-the-art space borne phased array systems. You will work internally and cross-functionally with a multi-disciplinary team to improve test speed and data collection, perform root cause analysis, and correlate test data with end-to-end system level simulations. Key job responsibilities• Measure, validate, and perform root cause analysis on phased array systems and sub-systems • Interface with standard RF equipment to enable automation and efficient data collection • Create and/or modify new software features to enable testing of standard phased array system metrics such as EIRP, EVM, and G/T • Act as a liaison with the Kuiper software team to drive new product requirements based on RF system test needs • Perform end-to-end modeling, simulation, and analysis of digital phased array systems Export Control RequirementDue to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
