Make a significant impact by developing and implementing next-generation tax technologies and processes.Key job responsibilities- Lead the preparation and review of U.S. indirect tax filings and U.S. & Canadian license applications for Amazon and its subsidiaries- Design and implement process improvements using emerging technologies, including AI and database & storage management- Provide guidance on complex tax and licensing issues, ensuring operations are in compliance with tax and licensing- Coordinate account reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal controls- Foster collaborative relationships with site operations teams and governmental agencies for timely new site launch licensing, including follow-up renewal timelines mitigating business operational slowdowns as well as audit, planning, and technology teamsA day in the lifeYou'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance tax compliance processes, mentor team members, and contribute to technological innovations.
