Come lead the User Experience Design team that shapes the future of how Amazon’s internal software engineers plan, develop, release, and operate their products! As a member of the Amazon Software Builder Experience organization, you’ll be a part of a cross-functional team of product managers, program managers, user researchers, data scientists, and development teams to deeply understand the needs of our customers, collaborate with other teams to design delightful solutions, and measure our success through successful delivery and impact on customers. Key job responsibilities- Hire and develop a team of UX designers while cultivating a culture of inclusion and empathy- Collaborate with leaders across multiple disciplines (product, program, research, engineering, etc.) to define a strategic direction for the business- Continually improve the customer experience with every release- Create and implement mechanisms for the design team to deliver multiple, high-impact projects in parallelA day in the lifeAs the UX Design manager, your day-to-day activities will vary. One day may be spent collaborating with our UX research team on identifying customer opportunities. Another day with product leaders to create a strategic direction for the business.   • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,500/year in our highest geographic market.
