What you will do
- Take ownership of complex software projects from conception to deployment, managing scope, risks, resources, and timelines.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to software developers and DevOps engineers, fostering professional growth and high-performance teams.
- Oversee full-stack development, including front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js/Angular/Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Express.js) technologies.
- Design and manage secure, scalable databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and integration.
- Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless communication across front-end, back-end, microservices, and external platforms.
- Architect, deploy, and optimize cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) with automated testing, security scanning, and performance monitoring.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch, setting up proactive alerting and remediation processes.
- Ensure security best practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and protection against vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL injection).
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and security practices.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements, translating them into scalable software architecture and design specifications.
- Encourage rapid prototyping and adoption of emerging technologies, including generative AI, to deliver innovative solutions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges, software bugs, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, design, QA, and business stakeholders) to deliver high-quality, user-centric software.
