What you will do
- Analyzing scientific requirements from Global Research and translating them into efficient and effective information systems solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify data product enhancement opportunities
- Performing data analysis, troubleshooting issues, and supporting system implementation and maintenance
- Developing data product launch and user adoption strategy for Amgen Research Foundational Data Systems
- Providing domain expertise for Research Data and Analytics within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) product team
- Serving as Agile team scrum master or project manager as needed
- Creating functional analytics dashboards and fit-for-purposes applications for quantitative research, scientific analysis and business intelligence (Databricks, Spotfire, Tableau, Dash, Streamlit, RShiny)
- Supporting a suite of custom internal platforms, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software, and systems integrations
- Translating scientific and technological needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams
- Developing and maintaining release deliverables that clearly outline the planned features and enhancements, timelines, and milestones
- Identifying and managing risks associated with the systems, including technological risks, scientific validation, and user acceptance
- Developing documentations, communication plans and training plans for end users
- Ensuring scientific data operations are scoped into building Research-wide Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning capabilities
- Ensuring operational excellence, cybersecurity and compliance
- Collaborating with geographically dispersed teams, including those in the US, EU and other international locations
- Partnering and ensuring alignment of the Amgen India DTI site leadership and following global standards and practices
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
What we expect of you
- Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of Life Science/Biotechnology/Pharmacology/Information Systems experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of Life Science/Biotechnology/Pharmacology/Information Systems experience OR
- Diploma and 7 to 9 years of Life Science/Biotechnology/Pharmacology/Information Systems experience
- 3+ years of experience in implementing and supporting biopharma scientific research data analytics
- Expertise in biopharma scientific domains as well as informatics solution delivery
- Solid background in the end-to-end software development lifecycle
- Scaled Agile practitioner, coupled with change management and transformation experience
- SAFe for Teams certification (preferred)
- SAFe Scrum Master or similar (preferred)

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges in drug discovery with data
- Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills to work seamlessly in a multi-functional team
- An ongoing commitment to learning and staying at the forefront of AI/ML advancements
