What you will do
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet business needs
- Ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications
- Working closely with product managers, designers, data engineers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions
- Automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime
- Enabling Amgen’s Process Development team to unlock the potential of computational modeling and simulation to advance Amgen’s molecule pipelines
- Enabling right first-time tech transfers and delivering against pipeline milestones
- Driving lifecycle enhancements to build competency and increase expertise across the Model Asset Commons development value stream
- Data translation and visual storytelling: transforming complex, raw datasets into clear, interactive, and insightful visual representations
- Working closely with data engineers to ensure data pipelines are optimized for visualization
- Working closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate business questions into visual requirements
- Creating and maintaining documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges effectively
- Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements
- Identifying and resolving software bugs and performance issues
- Customizing modules to meet specific business requirements
- Working on integrating with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
- Providing ongoing support and maintenance for applications, ensuring that they operate smoothly and efficiently
